With Pinpap, you do not have to work through long filter lists first. Simply describe what you are looking for in your own words.
For example:
"I am looking for a monitor for my home office for up to 400 euros."
or:
"A quiet washing machine for a family of four."
Pinpap identifies the product type, your budget and other important preferences from this.
AI understands your request – Pinpap decides according to rules
OpenAI helps us understand search text and relevant answers. Product selection and ranking then take place in the backend using structured product data and rules. Email addresses and user IDs are not intentionally sent as account metadata; personal information in free text may still be transmitted.
Products are then selected and assessed using structured requirements and available product information. The AI does not freely choose which product to recommend.

We only ask when it helps
If your request already provides enough information, you receive recommendations directly.
We only ask additional questions when an answer is needed for the advice or can meaningfully improve the result.
Prices and availability
Prices and availability come from the most recently imported merchant data. The corresponding update information is shown with the offer.
Merchants can change prices and availability at any time, so the price on the merchant's website at the time of purchase is decisive.
Merchant links in demo mode
In public demo mode, merchant links are provided without affiliate tracking. Pinpap receives no affiliate commission through these demo links. The merchant's own privacy and tracking rules apply on the merchant's website.
Guest use and improvement
No account is required: guest consultations are normally stored for operational use for 90 days from creation. During subsequent cleanup, previous guest, session, user and consultation associations are removed. Detached content may remain for internal usage and quality analyses. Free text can contain personal information and is therefore not automatically fully anonymous.
We do not create personal advertising profiles from guest consultations and do not use external analytics or session-recording tools. Technically necessary session and security processing remains in place. Product images may be loaded directly from external product or merchant CDNs.
How does Pinpap buying advice work?
Pinpap identifies your needs, asks follow-up questions when necessary and compares structured product data with available merchant offers. Backend rules determine product selection and ranking. OpenAI supports language understanding but does not decide recommendations on its own.
Is Pinpap a price comparison service?
Pinpap helps you make buying decisions based on your requirements. Available offers supplement the selection; a complete market overview or the lowest price is not guaranteed. Selection is open to different merchants but covers only merchants and products in the available catalogue.
Do I need an account?
You can use the advice as a guest. An account provides a personal history. Your details are processed for advice and internal improvement; see the privacy policy for specifics.
What does demo mode mean?
In public demo mode, merchant buttons do not link to shops through affiliate tracking links. Advice explains the available data and does not replace independent product testing.
